Graphite dispersions and pastes

Use Cases

The core focus of our product development and production lies in liquid and paste mixtures, which in most cases are based on the beneficial properties of graphite. Since graphite is a purely natural and environmentally friendly component, we are confident that our products also meet strict standards for safe handling. We process the graphite ourselves as the primary ingredient in our products to ensure the highest quality and guaranteed stability. Depending on the base carrier fluids, we divide our products into groups: water-based, oil-based, and alcohol-based. Another group includes dispersions without graphite, which complement our product range, as well as pasty products where we use various carriers depending on the intended application.

Water-based graphite dispersions

A range of water-based products with various types and ratios of graphite. They contain additional additives that improve adhesion, prevent corrosion, increase stability, enhance coverage quality, and adjust other properties according to the specific product.
These products are supplied as concentrates and are further diluted with drinking or distilled water. This product line is called Aquafénix.

The main areas of application are hot metal forming processes, primarily in foundries, forges, pressing shops, and in the production of seamless pipes.

Oil-based graphite dispersions

A range of oil-based products with various types and ratios of graphite and different kinds of oil. These also contain additives that enhance product properties. These products are supplied as final products or concentrates and can be diluted with oil. The main areas of use are in foundries or for forging non-ferrous metals. This product line is called Oilfénix

Alcohol-based graphite dispersions

A range of alcohol-based products with various types and ratios of graphite and different kinds of alcohol. The main difference compared to other carriers is the rapid evaporation, resulting in quick drying of the applied layer. It also contains additives that further improve product properties.

These products are supplied as final products or concentrates and can be diluted with the appropriate alcohol. Alcohol evaporates quickly in the air, leaving a functional graphite layer.

The main areas of use are corrosion protection, lubrication of railway switches, and as a raw material for the production of polyurethanes with flame retardants. This product line is called Fénixlak

Graphite-free dispersions

If, for any reason, you prefer products without graphite, we are gradually expanding our range to include non-graphite lubricants as equivalents to graphite ones, but especially for applications where the use of graphite is not meaningful, such as various insulating coatings for foundries. This group also includes products that are not graphite-based, but whose color is also black or grey.

Graphite pastes

A range of paste-based products with different types and ratios of graphite and various types of carriers. These products also contain other additives that enhance their properties. This product line is marketed under the name Pastix.

These products are supplied as final products, even in very small packaging – starting from 0.1 kg, mainly for household use or for maintenance workers.

For certain applications, it is more suitable to apply a paste than a liquid material, so we have developed a range of products that meet this requirement and offer additional benefits.

The main reasons for using these pastes include the material’s thermal conductivity, maintenance of various machine components (lubrication, preservation, corrosion prevention), as well as easy disassembly of joints even after long periods, or for repairing coke ovens.
